Slim Twig, музыкант и актер, (настоящее имя Max Turnbull) родился в 1988 году в Торонто, Канада. В 2008 году Слим Твиг был назван лучшим Поп\Рок Исполнителем Года в Торонто по версии журнала NOW. Музыкант соотрудничает с лэйблом Paper Bag Records с 2005 года. Помимо сольной карьеры, Слим играет и поет в группах Tropics и Archaic Women. Наибольшую киноизвестность Слиму принесла роль Билли Зеро в картине 2007 года режисера Брюса МакДональдса «Фрагменты Трейси», где он сыграл вместе с Эллен Пейдж.
