The Band name, Endrone actually comes from nowhere. It was a combination of two words that Mike put together.The name actually has two meanings . One meaning is to be caught in your worst moment. The second is, to be imprisioned against your own will, and to be re-programmed for further use by the organization that captured you.
Formed in 1999, by current guitarist Crisis, this unrelenting bunch never says die. Back in 1999 the music scene was nothing but constant waves of recycled Nu Metal acts that seemed to never stop with the rapping and dark 7 string undertones. This was challenging as an artist to stand out, but Crisis started to develop a sound that crossbred a real rock sound, mixed with all the elements of 90's metal. And with guitar solos completely phased out of modern rock and commercial radio, the focus turned to a more groove based songwriting approach. Adding dynamics and songs that have real hooks, but still keeping the heavy rhythms from a fear factory/pantera style or approach.
Now the past few years have been nothing but an all out war, rather then a cakewalk. With their ever revolving door of line up changes, to former members trying there hardest to sabotage the project, this story just gets better by the day. From members bailing out for cheap excuses to master tapes being stolen and destroyed, to even physical threats on their life. Finally, the biggest assets to this group came in 2003. When vocal auditions were being held in early 2003, a unique individual screamed his way in the door and became the voice of Endrone. Mike St.Clair, a native of Nor*Cal, brought to the table what no one else had. He brought vision, direction, a keen sense for the business, and lyrics that make you think twice about what was your worst moments?
Julio Vides, the drummer that could and will breathe new life into this band. He joined the group in late August and has already grasped the material, and put his own mark in the band. He has finally become the third member, and the're ready to take over LA.
So now with the rest of 2005 to make a real name for themselves, and already having a few high profile Hollywood shows under their belt, they released a DVD, and a EP this year, as well as record their highly anticipated debut album with producer Logan Mader, which is set to surface in Winter 2005 through Flatline.
