IDV Ukraine is always looking forward to working with language professionals and linguists. To work with us as a translator or Interpreter, you must have at least one year of translation or interpreting experience, a degree from an accredited university. Ideally you will be a member of a recognized professional body. You must have easy access to email and be capable of working on-line, be able to input all diacritical marks in the writing system for your language. It will be necessary to complete our vetting and selection process. You will be required to comply with quality guidelines, codes of conduct and strict confidentiality agreements and you could be subject to further vetting and background checks. During the selection process you may be invited to translate a short text for each language pair you wish to qualify in. We require experienced language professionals with in-depth knowledge in professional field (such as dating, medicine, pharmaceuticals, software, finance, legal and engineering). The greatest demand for interpreting is in community and social interpreting disciplines, work is generally offered on an ad hoc basis 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Conference interpreters must be highly competent in simultaneous interpretation and experienced with the use of translation booths.
