Описание

Alyssa Jean "Allie" Gonino (born March 30, 1990) is an American singer, musician, song-writer, actress, and dancer. Allie, born Alyssa Jean Gonino, grew up in Rockwall, Texas. After a chance encounter with the Dixie Chicks, (before lead singer Natalie Maines had joined), Allie was inspired to be a musician and entertainer. It wasn't until the age of seven that she started taking classical violin, and classical ballet lessons.[1] At the age of nine, around the release of the Chicks' debut album with Natalie, Gonino learned she had an ear for singing. For the next 6 years, she would perform at many of the country music oprys in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, singing, yodeling, and playing fiddle, and mandolin. As a freshman in high school, Gonino took a strong interest in musical theater. Her love for acting grew, and it went hand in hand with her other artistic passions. One month into her sophomore year, she dropped out of high school to move to Los Angeles, and fully pursue a career in music and acting. At sixteen, she acquired her GED. Since spring 2005, Gonino has grown into a more left-of-center artist, but is influenced by all musical genres. Among her favorite artists are Coldplay, The Beatles, The Dixie Chicks, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, The Eagles, Kanye West, Arcade Fire, Danger Mouse, Green Day, Tom Petty, Tchaikovsky, AIR, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Metric, and Moby. In 2007, Allie received a call from former teen pop idol Vitamin C, requesting she audition for a new girl group she was producing, called The Stunners. The Stunners went on to sign a deal with Columbia Records, eventually leaving that venture to pursue another with Universal Republic. In summer 2010, after the release of their first single "Dancin' Around the Truth" featuring the New Boyz, The Stunners embarked on a 20 date engagement, as the opening act on the Justin Bieber: My World Tour. Allie is currently writing and recording new music, and playing violin in the L.A. based indie-rock band, Mr. Adventures. After wrapping a recurring gig on ABC Family's comedy series 10 Things I Hate About You, she booked a lead part in the new series, The Lying Game. ABC Family has picked up a series order of 10 episodes, and a series premiere is expected fall, 2011.
